These are for an A6 Notebook but can be made for any sized Notebook, Diary or Sketchbook.

My Fairy Door design is appliquéd with daisies and toadstools onto a pocket, handy for holding a pen.

I will be taking these to my next Craft Fair on Sunday, I usually do Craft Fairs on a Saturday so I'm not too sure how successful this one will be, oh well, I'll never know till I try so fingers crossed.

I'm linking this post to Handmade Monday so please pop over and join in the fun.

Take care and have a fun week

Toadstool & Daisy Diary Covers

Gosh, what a week, we have had lots of rain here in Suffolk, a bit ironic really, like a lot of the country  we have a water shortage and a hosepipe ban, I'm not complaining though, we need the rain and lots of it, but is it selfish of me to wish it would stay sunny all day and rain throughout the night?

Do you remember a while back, I won some fabric in a givaway and made a slip cover for my Diary and Address Book?

You can see the post about it Here

Well I finally got around to making some more.....

The Slip Cover has a button fastening.......

Can you tell that I like toadstools and daisies? This Design is one that appears in lots of my Plaques and paintings. I like the idea of matching book covers so I've also done Notebook and Sketchbook Covers  with a Fairy Door design but I'll show you them in another post.

A selection of Diary Covers

I have put these Diary Covers in my Folksy Shop and I plan to add more sizes and designs soon.

I'm off to check out Wendy's blog and the the linky party over at  Handmade Monday

Plaques and a Rainbow

I can hardly believe it's been a couple of weeks since I've done a post, the time has passed so quickly. Not only have I not done a post but I haven't been to visit anyone else either, I hope to remedy that this week and get around everyone.
On Friday I was in Lincolnshire for the day and the weather was a bit unpredictable, it started off foggy, then the sun showed it's face for a while but then the clouds built up and it became quite chilly.....

...... but it did give me the opportunity of seeing this lovely rainbow.

Fortunately, on Saturday the weather had improved, for which I was thankful. I had a table at a local Craft Fair and it stayed dry, bright and sunny (but still a little chilly) The event was quite well attended and I had a successful day.

The most popular plaques on this occasion were the 'Biohazard' and the 'Girls Only' plaques.

These Plaques can be personalised and done in any colour with any wording.

I'm going to sign off for now but before I go I'm going to link this post to Handmade Monday, be sure to pop over and see the other contributors to this linky party.

Small Canvases

Hello fellow bloggers and welcome to my contribution to Handmade Monday hosted by Wendy of 1st Unique Gifts, I'm a bit later than usual with my post this week and would like to show you a few of my Swirly Tree paintings.
If you look closely you can see a caterpillar and a snail in the grass, a dragonfly and a bee on the wing and a ladybird (ladybug) somewhere in the picture, these canvases are quite small, only 7 x 5 inches and I have listed one in my Folksy Shop HERE , I've also put a couple of these on display at Brandon Country Park along with the paintings shown in my previous post

Swirly Tree and Daisies

The painting goes around the sides of the canvas.

Although at first sight they all look the same and even though they all have the same elements, tree, daisies, toadstools and creatures, each has been painted individually and has slight differences.

Black & White Swirly Tree

I decided to do a black and white version with just one bit of colour, this has the centre of the daisies in yellow, I also done another with the red of the toadstools and ladybird being the only colour.
Unfortunately, I don't know if it was a blip with the camera or more likely a blip by me but that photograph didn't turn out and the picture has already gone to it's new owner.

I really enjoy painting these, they go really well with my Fairy Doors.

If you haven't already been over to see Wendy I hope you can pop over and see what she has been up to with Theo Paphitis of Dragons Den fame.

I read all the blogs that take part of the linky party but it may take a while before I get around all of you.

Wishing you all well
